Future Processing
Support for Ukraine
On the day when Russia attacked Ukraine, we celebrated the fifth birthday of Future Processing Ukraine (FPU). This heartbreaking agression took us all by surprise, especially with its power and cruelty. We are in constant contact with our friends from FPU and Ukraine, and we try – as we all do – to help them as best as we can.
First of all, the Future Processing board published an official statement about the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, which was published internally on March 24th, 2022. The Russian Federation originally started a war with Ukraine in 2014. In 2022, we are seeing its intensification with the support of the Republic of Belarus. Ukraine has been a sovereign country since 1991. The inviolability of the territory of Ukraine has been established and is not up for discussion. Therefore, we deal with an attack on a free and independent state.

Our statement
Future Processing's solidarity with Ukraine

We condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. We also condemn instances of any help provided to the Russian Federation by other states with the aim of strengthening or facilitating this aggression.
At the same time, our criticism is expressed towards the Russian Federation, its decision-makers and people supporting them, not towards the nations, let alone individual people, who themselves may become victims of various authorities.
Range of support
What kind of help do we provide?
As part of this assistance, we have been able
to accomplish, among other things:
Evacuation
We evacuated the families of our employees from Ternopil – this is happening gradually. We are organising transport for these people or financial support for them
Accommodation
We are helping these families find accommodation with the support of Future Processing’s employees
Operational security
We provided operational security for FPU in Ternopil so that disruptions to the banking system, Internet access, lack of equipment or securing food supplies in the office in case of crisis would not impact work
Money collection
We organised a collection at FP for Ternopil. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we managed to buy protection and equipment as a response to the immediate needs of the city’s Territorial Defense. We spent about 47,000 PLN from the money collected in the collection, which reached over 51 000 PLN
Salaries
We also supported the activities of our Ukrainian FPU employees in territorial defence and volunteering by paying them their entire salaries
Convoy
We supported the logistical coordination of a convoy organized by the city of Chorzów in cooperation with Fakro to bring aid to Tarnopol
Logistical assistance
We provided logistical assistance in delivering donations to Ternopil from the “Wyspa” Association from Chorzów. We provided logistical assistance in delivering donations to Ternopil from the “Polska Parafia w Newcastle upon Tyne” in the UK
Shelter
We helped the Ukrainian IT-company Eddson by providing shelter for their people in our office in Ternopil and set up short-term assistance in Poland. Together with Eddson, we also rescued their cat
Medical Transport Vehicle Funding
We raised PLN 18,862 (UAH 145,237), which enabled purchasing a pickup truck that will be used to transport injured persons or transport food and medical supplies
Client donation
One of our clients – as an anonymous donor – decided to donate the amount of money equal to the discount they were entitled to under the contract with FP to ‘Równe szanse’ Foundation and Society of Friends of Ukraine
Money collection at Future Processing

#StandWithUkraine

We have already accomodated nine women and ten children from FPU.
They all now live in Silesia in flats provided by Future Processing’s
employees.
We were also involved in the Polish TECH and Business for Fighting
Ukraine #CyberBridge campaign which collected money for the Ukraine
Foundation. The campaign helped to raise 508,227 PLN.
We fervently hope that the conflict in Ukraine will come to an end as
soon as possible.
